Fishing rules
Everyone aged between 18 and 65 angling in Denmark must hold a valid angling licence. Angling is fishing using light hand tackle.
Fishing in trout lakes (called "put and take"), does not normally require an angling licence, but a pass which can be purchased on site.
Your angling licence is personal, and you must carry your receipt for payment while fishing, together with personal identification. In fresh water the owner of the fishing water must give permission to fish.
